About Lachlan
I have an amazing relationship, and 3 beautiful kids aged 14, 20 and 21.
I am fortunate enough to live on the Gold Coast so I'll often be at the beach and enjoying nature!
Many years ago I had 2 long term relationships lasting between 9 - 12 years each which included children and one marriage.
These different relationship and parenting experiences have put me in a great position of having direct understanding and empathy of the challenges that couples I work with experience.
I am passionate about health, emotional intelligence, body movement, personal development, business, the environment, travel and being of service.
Honesty, integrity, love, and connection are important values for me in all area's of my life.
Personal and professional development:
-15+ live in retreat programmes, typically for 1-2 weeks each, focused on trauma/childhood, negative patterns, limitations, fear, reducing stress/anxiety, relationships, masculine and feminine relating, parenting, addressing narcissistic people, survival in the bush, and overall physical, intellectual, spiritual and emotional development.
Techniques such as meditation, breathwork, catharsis, healings, diads, ecstatic dance, journaling, exercise, clean diet and group work were included.
-I completed a highly intensive 2 year counselling programme, with the objective for participants to address any personal issue's and live as the best version of themselves, so they can then offer quality integrity based counselling to other's.
-Diploma in relationship counselling.
-John Gottman relationship Institute certification.
-Emotion focused therapy training.
-Cognitive behaviour therapy training.
-Many business and success focused workshops.
-Management and sales training.
-Entrepreneur/career profiling.
-I have been mentored by Naomi Simson (Red Balloon), Carolyn Creswell (Carman's fine foods), Justin Cameron (Surfstitch), Roger Hamilton (Wealth Dynamics), Justin Dry (Vinomofo) and John Cash (PPS Hairwear and NAK).
-Mens groups for many years.
